Given the fact that every person wants to learn things experientially, it's actually not so suprising that
a nation founded upon OPPOSITION to tyranny would evolve into the TYRANT and EMPIRE
which its founders originally fought.
But herein lies the hope of evolution over revolution, i.e. the coming Reign of God.
Hope springs eternally from the heart in each person's revolution,
whereby each GENERATION has the chance to learn from the failures of the past,
to let Love spread like wildfire and overcome and eliminate human-engineered sicknesses and vice.
As Dorothy Day said,
"We have all known the long loneliness,
and have learned that the only solution is Love,
and that love comes with community."

In the Catholic Agitator in 1971, Jeff Dietrich interviewed Dorothy Day, and one of the questions pertained to anarchism. Dorothy replied...
"The anarchist philosophy is that the new social order is to be built by groups of people working together in communities–whether in communities of work or communities of culture or communities of artists–but in communities. Martin Buber said there could be a "community of communities" rather that a state. They could be united in some way but without any governing body. It would be made up of unions, credit unions, instead of banks. There would be no more lending at interest. There would be no more money lenders."
RUSSELL MEANS
Interviewed in the El Dorodo Sun, July 2000, Russell Means (a co-founder of A.I.M.) said about anarchism...
"...a society that doesn't need government. In the classical, first meaning of the word anarchy was all about honor and honesty, and that's [the only way] societies can exist without government. You have to have honor where deceit is virtually unknown."
